Privacy
This describes how PortorPickEm handles data in its current Phase 1 web release.
What we store
An email address, a password hash, a display name, optional first and last name, your chosen time zone, notification preferences, the pools you belong to, the picks you make and the scores those picks produce. That is all.
What we do not store
No payment details, no financial accounts, no uploaded photos, no location, no device advertising identifiers and no third-party analytics or tracking pixels.
Who can see your picks
Before a game locks, only you can see your pick for it. Not other members, not co-commissioners, not the commissioner. After the applicable lock, active members of that pool can see one another’s selections for that game. This is enforced on the server.
Transactional email (password reset, address confirmation) is sent only when an email provider is configured for the deployment. There is no marketing email.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from your profile. Your login, sessions and personal details are removed and your display name is replaced. Completed picks and scores stay attached to an anonymous record so other members’ finished seasons remain intact.
